The Apollo Twin MkII utilises Universal Audio's groundbreaking Unison™ enabled mic preamps to deliver a host of classic microphone preamps from the likes of Neve, API and Manley. Also included is an onboard library of premium UAD analog emulation plug-ins which model legendary studio tech from the Teletronix LA-2A tube preamp to a selection of Pultec EQs.
Connection ports include 2 premium Unison mic/line preamps along with 2 line outputs and a front-panel Hi-Z instrument input with headphone out. There's also the capability for 8 additional digital channels via the Optical TOSLINK connection for incredible recording versatility.
Available with UAD-2 SOLO, UAD-2 DUO, or UAD-2 QUAD processing, depending on your studio requirements, the Apollo Twin MkII is the ideal low-latency, lightning fast (up to 20 Gbps) audio interface for any studio.
Apollo MKII gives users the ability to record with Apollo A/D and D/A Conversion - as heard on albums like A Head Full of Dreams (Coldplay), Compton (Dr. Dre) and To Pimp A Butterfly (Kendrick Lamar)
Mix with a choice of included UAD plug-ins like the Teletronix LA-2A, Pultec EQ's and the Unison enabled UA 610-B Tube Preamp. Developed by UA's algorithm engineers, these plug-ins set the standard for audio mixing. Other premium plug-ins are available from the Universal Audio store.
Cascade or Daisy Chain up to 4 Apollo interfaces and 6 UAD-2 devices via Thunderbolt adding both DSP and I/O. Apollo 2 becomes the ideal intelligent desktop controller for a full Apollo recording system.
Tracking with the Apollo Twin MkII gives access to Unison technology on its front panel instrument input, giving you access to accurate emulations of guitar and bass amps like the Fender '55 Tweed Deluxe and Marshall Plexi Super Lead 1959, as well as iconic stompboxes like the Ibanez Tube Screamer.
