Handle stereo sources with ease
The DIP2 converts two independent instrument-level signals into balanced XLR outputs, making it particularly useful for stereo keyboards, effects processors, playback devices, and other dual-channel sources. By providing separate channels throughout the signal path, it helps preserve stereo information while allowing straightforward connection to professional audio equipment. Whether you're on stage or in the studio, it offers a practical way to integrate stereo instruments into a balanced audio system.
Flexible routing for different setups
Parallel thru outputs on both channels allow you to send signals to amplifiers while simultaneously feeding a mixer, PA system, or audio interface. This gives you greater flexibility when monitoring on stage or splitting signals for recording and live sound applications. The integrated merge switch adds another useful option, allowing both channels to be combined into a mono output when your setup calls for a single signal path.
Independent control for each channel
Every channel includes its own ground lift switch and -20dB pad, allowing you to adapt the DI box to different instruments and signal levels. Ground lift controls help minimise hum caused by ground loops, while the input pads reduce the risk of distortion when working with hotter outputs. Because these controls operate independently, you can optimise each channel separately for cleaner, more consistent results.
Passive design with dependable construction
The DIP2 requires no batteries or external power supply, making it a reliable addition to portable and permanent setups alike. Its compact enclosure fits comfortably alongside other stage and studio equipment, while the black finish keeps the appearance discreet and professional. Protective side panels help shield the housing from knocks during transport and regular use, making the DIP2 a practical choice for musicians, engineers, and performers who need dependable signal conversion wherever they work.
