The three flaps that make up the Finger Flips drumstick can be configured in different ways. Rubber rings located on each outer flap are used to separate the individual sections. When played horizontally (flat to the drum surface), a subtle snap can be heard when impacting the drum. The result is an accentuated hit to give your performance energy and bring the track alive. The three sections can be moved closer and further apart, reducing or increasing the impact the snap makes. In a quieter setting the Finger Flips can be used, when played horizontally, to add a subtle nuance to snare hits and cymbals whilst not interfering with the overall drum performance.
For more impact, the Finger flips can be separated further and played vertically. In this scenario the outer flaps act as double tracks for your initial hit. This will help your performance be heard and is ideal in heavy chorus performances. The ability to vary the amount of 'snap'; makes the Finger Flips very versatile and allows you to create a truly distinct sound. As always with Headhunter drumsticks, the Finger Flips are built to last for even the heaviest handed drummer.
