The main feature of any drum kit, the AAD Snare Pad (Accuracy Articulation Dynamics) offers incredibly realistic expression and articulation in a practice pad form. Made from heavy base materials with multiple layers of foam, the top 2-ply mesh layer can be tuned for a range of different responses, feels and tones. To achieve this tone, the snare pad has over 100 'Buzz Spheres' nested between the internal foam pad that produce a realistic snare 'buzz' sound that's dynamically accurate to your stroke.
The raised hoop design also offers a great rim click sound and is useful when practicing rim shots, making sure your technique is accurate and consistent. With the rubber hoop using a 'tongue-and-groove' construction, it is durable and can easily withstand the rimshot impacts.
Mounted on the included tom stand with the mounting clamps and boom arm, the tom pads are all differing sizes to help with accuracy and general feel around the kit. With a realistic stick response, the toms produce an accurate tonal representation of their respective positionings - a low volume acoustic drum tone. Made from a dual layer of foam rubber, the feel is soft with an accurate response. The resin shell produces the tone, acting as an acoustic chamber and resonating when struck, whilst staying in place with the high-quality clamps.
