Vintage and versatile voicing

The American Vintage comes equipped with a duo of pickups that combine to create a in incredible, classic tone. Located at the neck of this model is a wide-range humbucking pickup, paired with a Pure Vintage ’77 single-coil at the neck. When combined, these pickups deliver an authentic, dynamic sound. The neck pickup features CuNiFe magnets, which have been out of production since 1981. However, Fender have reprised them in order to create the same beautiful sonics of the original.

Paired with these electronics is a wide variety of controls that can be tweaked in order for you to find your desired tone. Included on this model are two volume knobs that let you adjust the levels of both of the pickups individually. Alongside these, you are also provided with a tone control for each of the pickups too. The American Vintage features pickup switching, letting you perform with a singular pickup, or both of them combined. An unbeatable tone.

Its body has been sculpted from a lightweight alder and finished with a gloss polyurethane finish. Paired with this is a maple neck, which has been sculpted into a C-shaped profile, offering a smooth and effortless slide between frets. On top sits a matching maple fingerboard, ensuring every note played feels luxurious due to its soft nature.
