The Sire Marcus Miller M6 Headless Bass is a modern four-string built around comfort, balance, and broad tonal flexibility. A five-piece hard maple and mahogany neck combines with a rosewood Edgeless fingerboard for a comfortable feel. The M6 Headless brings a distinctly contemporary approach to Sire's modern bass range, with a lightweight design created to improve balance and reduce fatigue during extended playing sessions. Based on Sire's four-string samples, the instrument weighs less than 8 lbs, helping minimise the neck-heavy feel that can affect some conventional bass designs. Its swamp ash M-Headless body removes unnecessary bulk while maintaining a purposeful, performance-focused shape, giving players a comfortable platform for rehearsals, recording sessions, and longer sets.

Flexible Marcus Heritage-3 preamp

At the heart of the M6's versatility is the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with middle frequency control. Its three-band design combines volume/tone and pickup blender controls with dedicated treble, bass, and adjustable middle frequency controls, giving you detailed command over the instrument's output. Pickup variation switching adds further tonal options, while active and passive operation broadens the available sounds.
