The LYRA8-FX centres around a two-stage lo-fi delay, each with independent time and modulation depth controls. Cross-feedback between the stages lets you build dense echoes, metallic resonances, and unstable repeats that feel alive under your fingers. You can select different modulation sources for each stage, adding movement that shifts and drifts as your patch evolves.

Push the feedback and explore self-modulation, where the delay output alters its own sample rate for raw, fragmented tones. It is not limited to simple echoes either; with careful adjustment, you can dial in reverb-like spaces, comb filtering, chorus-style movement, and more abstract effects.

Dial in distortion with precision

After the delay section, a parallel distortion circuit gives you direct control over how much grit you introduce. The drive control sets the intensity, while a dedicated mix knob lets you blend clean and distorted signals to taste.

CV control over the drive parameter means you can automate or sequence changes in saturation across a performance. Because the distortion sits after the delay, it reshapes the repeats themselves, adding weight, edge, or harshness depending on your settings. It is a flexible way to push subtle ambience into aggressive territory without losing control of your overall balance.

Integrate easily into your modular rig

With audio input, main output, and a separate delay-only output, the module supports creative routing within a Eurorack system. Send the delayed signal to additional filters or VCAs while keeping the main mix intact, or process the full output as part of a larger effects chain.
