The product price includes 5 years' warranty and 30 day money back guarantee.
However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers.
The highlights of this enhanced warranty service are:
Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided.
For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs.
This enhanced warranty is in addition to the standard Gear4music and manufacturer warranty policies, and the Gear4music terms and conditions of trade. No statement or condition of sale contained within these terms affects or restricts your statutory rights as defined under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2014.

Key Features

Its Yamaha CFX concert grand voice gives you sparkling highs and resonant bass, while Virtual Resonance Modeling recreates the complex interactions between strings found in a grand piano. Combined with the 88-note Graded Hammer Standard keyboard, this provides a responsive playing experience with heavier low keys and a lighter touch towards the top.
There’s plenty to explore beyond traditional piano playing, too. Choose between 630 instrument voices and 263 accompaniment styles, with Adaptive Style responding to the intensity of your performance for a more interactive backing. Plus, Bluetooth audio lets you play along with music from a compatible smart device, while USB audio recording, score display, lesson functions, and microphone connectivity open up more ways to practise and perform. At the heart of the DGX 670 is the Yamaha CFX concert grand voice, giving you the sparkling upper register and resonant bass associated with Yamaha's flagship concert grand piano. Virtual Resonance Modeling adds another layer of detail by calculating how the strings respond as you play, taking your key presses, playing strength, and pedal timing into account. You can also adjust elements such as the virtual piano lid and acoustic environment. Together, these features let you shape the piano sound around your playing rather than relying on one fixed character.
The 88-note Graded Hammer Standard keyboard is designed to reflect the changing weight of an acoustic piano action. Lower notes have a heavier touch, while the action gradually becomes lighter towards the higher register. That makes the DGX 670 useful if you're developing the finger strength and technique needed for an acoustic piano. And when you want to practise privately, the Stereophonic Optimiser creates a more dispersed headphone sound, helping acoustic piano voices appear to originate from the instrument rather than simply playing directly into your ears.
Want some company while you play? The DGX 670 includes 263 accompaniment styles covering genres such as pop, R&B, rock, jazz, and dance. Adaptive Style responds to your playing intensity in real time, changing the backing as your performance becomes stronger or mellower. Alternatively, Simple Style reduces the arrangement to rhythm and bass when you want more space around your chosen voice. Smart Chord can create complete chords from simple left-hand input, while Unison and Accent give you additional ways to make the accompaniment respond to your performance.
With 630 instrument voices covering electric pianos, organs, brass, strings, percussion, and more, you can move beyond the core piano sounds whenever inspiration strikes. Bluetooth audio lets you play compatible smart-device audio through the DGX 670's speaker system, while the Chord Tracker app can identify chord sequences in supported audio files you own. You can also connect a microphone, display lyrics, add vocal effects, and reduce vocals in audio recordings. For practice and recording, on-screen notation and lesson functions help you learn songs, while USB supports WAV playback and recording to a flash drive.
