The Samson MixPad MXP144FX delivers exceptional sound quality with its six MDR mic preamp channels. Each of these channels is equipped with a 3-band EQ, Gain trim control, high-pass filter, and a pre-fader Aux send. The MXP144FX also features one hundred 24-bit low-noise digital effects through its studio-inspired FX processor, providing you with ample tools for adding an essence of space and feel to the sound you're mixing. The premium circuitry within the MXP144FX is designed to work with the Maximum Dynamic Range preamps to deliver a wide frequency range with definitive channel separation and a natural, organic response. This collection of intelligent design features result in a mixer that ensures the absolute best quality from pure and authentic audio signals, making it perfect for a huge range of applications.
Intuitive Front Panel Configuration
The MXP144FX features an incredibly intuitive design that allows you to take maximum control over your sound. The each channel features a 3-band EQ, Gain trim control, pre-fader Aux send, mute switch, and high-pass filter for sculpting the sound coming into your mixer. The MXP144FX also features switchable 48V phantom power, allowing you to take full advantage of the warm and natural response of condenser microphones. Four of the MDR microphone channels are also equipped with a single-knob compressor, providing studio-quality control over the dynamics of that channel's audio without the hassle of having to make constant adjustments to external hardware. Alongside the versatile MDR channels, the MXP144FX features four stacked stereo channels (two of them feature MDR preamps) to provide you with even more input and output flexibility. The mixer's brightly coloured control knobs and 8-segment LED level meter ensure excellent visibility for easy control, even in dimly lit environments. The MXP144FX ensures precise and efficient control over your Main Mix with XLR and 1/4'' options, as well as the Mix 2 output, and the capability to monitor mixes through headphones with an independent headphone level control. The RCA tape out enables you to directly record your mixes as they happen.
