Installation is straightforward: create a suitable mounting hole, pass the threaded microphone body through the surface, then secure it underneath. Once fitted, the microphone stays neatly in place without requiring a conventional desktop microphone stand. Its M20X1 threaded design provides a secure mounting arrangement, making the BND-17M particularly useful for permanent meeting, conferencing, and speech reinforcement installations.

No need to second-guess whether your microphone is live. The BND-17M features an LED ring that clearly shows its current status, with green indicating that the microphone is active and red showing that it's muted. That visual feedback is particularly handy during meetings, where you can check the microphone at a glance before speaking. Better still, the mute control is built straight into the microphone. Simply double tap the Lambden Audio logo to mute or unmute, giving you quick control without adding separate switches or controls to your desk.

Its sensitivity is optimised specifically for spoken applications, helping capture the detail needed for clear communication. A 50Hz–18kHz frequency response provides wide coverage, while the condenser element has a rated sensitivity of -39dB ±3dB at 1kHz.
