zplane PEEL is an isolating plug-in which lets you externally process instruments from pre-mixed tracks. With its sophisticated spatial-spectral isolator EQ technology, PEEL lets you solo, mute or route isolated audio for external processing in a multi-output format in selected DAWs. Get creative with Peel by sending vocals to a separate DAW track and setting the level and panning position to your liking. You can even extract only the snare from a drum loop and process it any way you want! Peel's visual interface allows you to see the entire mix and identify issues with ease.

PEEL is more than just a metering tool. It allows you to isolate any part of your audio file by drawing a rectangular box on the X-Y stereo-frequency display and toggling its contents between solo and mute. This feature has a variety of applications, including focusing on a particular aspect of the audio or attempting to isolate a musical element. You can also route the audio within the defined stereo/frequency range to another audio track, letting you process the soloed and muted parts of the signal separately on selected DAWs.
PEEL has enormous potential for creative use in mixes, remixes, and even live performances. You can easily adjust a vocal level within a full mix without causing side effects, and the isolation is good enough to separate individual elements like vocals or snare drums to feed effects such as reverb or delay.
Visualise your audio
In addition to its powerful isolation capabilities, the zplane PEEL offers a unique audio visualization feature. As an insert on any audio channel, PEEL's main display maps the energy of the audio signal in real time on spatial and frequency axes. You can even instantiate multiple instances in your project and colour-code the display of each, making it a great tool for exploring masking or visualizing the differences in an audio signal before and after processing.
